Last time I posted I was determined to get back into blogging more regularly, be it about running, OCRs or generally fitness.
Well, I epicly failed on that front didn’t I!
Since then I have volunteered at Tough Guy (and we all know how well that went down…), had some hip scans (hint: not fun), bought some Tikiboo leggings (which are freaking awesome) and volunteered at Nuts (yesterday, not the most organised of events shall we say?) so I’ve been busy!
But my highlight of recent times has to be going to the Arndale Centre in Manchester to hunt out a picture of me that was used for the This Girl Can campaign! Many thanks to Mike for being my photographer here 🙂
It’s such a fantastic campaign, plus it made me feel a lot more confident in myself about my body etc, where before I would a) not have even posed and b) certainly not sent this picture in, now I can say ‘hell yeah, I’m a badass muddy lady!’ 😀
I’ll keep this relatively short and sweet, off to Mighty Deerstalker next weekend in Scotland, staying with a lovely UKMQ called Vicky up there so that will be awesome 🙂 I shall aim to write a wonderful review after that, pretty sure Rat Race will live up to their rep 😛
Ciao for now, muddy hugs!
